About us

Edu Revamp Africa Foundation is a not-for-profit social enterprise focused on education reform and innovation using technology and media as veritable tools to change Africa’s education narrative.

We are set up to accelerate and support positive change in Africa’s education system and beyond. We amplify the education conversation across board ensuring it becomes the key focus at all level of government, the private sector and driving the commitment of the people to get an appropriate education.

Our Vision

To become that trusted, undiluted voice that redefines the education conversation. All Africa children shall have the opportunity to reach their full potentials through equitable and meaningful public education that nourishes our continent’s civic and economic vitality.

What we do

The media plays a crucial role in shaping conversation across every sector, education being no exception but in Africa education reportage is relegated because it does not give high return on mileage. At Edu Revamp Africa, we provide unbiased coverage of the education sector; we are the Authentic Voice and Watchdog of education in Nigeria and Africa. We do this through Edugist, Education Dialogue and Africa’s Education Conversation.

We have years of providing evidence-based, academically-valid research and analysis of vital public-education issues, framing ideas, and providing policy options

We play an essential role – for which we have built widespread credibility and deep trust – of keeping educators, policymakers and the public informed about challenges and progress in education, especially public education.

We develop and lead innovative education programs that provide real value and real impact in the continent, but also underpin and inform our policy and community engagement efforts.

We believe the future of Africa depends on a public that is informed about public schools and education policy, and engaged in the conversation about the value that public schools add to the continent, about the challenges, education face, and about ideas and initiatives to make our education the best it can be. We play a leading role in stimulating that conversation and engagement.
